CodeDay Labs is the virtual tech internship for everyone. Since its launch in 2017, the non-profit program has helped 5,000+ students connect to industry mentors to gain a real-world career experience. During the 6-to-12 week program, students from diverse backgrounds work with mentors from top employers in the tech industry on real-world, open-source projects (examples).

We know the importance of internships when it comes to students' careers, and that not every student is able to find one. Our cost to provide this internship-style opportunity is between $450-650 per student, and we're looking for college partners who want to offer this alternative to their students.

Some stats:

• With last year's funding we were able to offer spots to 300 students. This year we're aiming for 1,000.
• 67% of past participants were underrepresented in CS.
• Within 3 months of the program's end, half of participants were offered a traditional, paid internship or a full-time job.

Our cost to provide this internship-style opportunity is between $450-650 per student, and we're looking for partners who want to offer this to their talented CS students.

The CodeDay Labs team is looking for partners who want to provide this experience to interns they could not admit, and connect with a talented, diverse group of students nationwide who are not reached by traditional recruiting. The cost to provide the program to students is around $500/student.
