CodeDay Labs mentors select a project for their mentees, like like in a real internship. Most projects involve either:

• Improving an existing open source project (bug fixes, new features, etc)
• Creating a new open source project which replicates some functionality only available in a commercial project
• Creating a new open source project to solve a new problem for a group of users

This document will guide you through the process of proposing your own project based on the track that you are mentoring for.
