Although CodeDay is similar to a hackathons, it is not a traditional hackathon in these ways:

• Our focus is attracting creative students not interested in coding.
• It’s less competitive because there are no large prizes.
• You don’t have to show off because there are no recruiters.
• Participants are judged on creativity and whether they pushed themselves and learned something new (even if they failed).
• Participants are NOT judged on presentation skills.
